This Week on The Mountain June 25-28
Hey neighbor!
Summer is officially settling in across the mountain.
The days are longer, the evenings are staying comfortable, and every weekend seems to bring a few more reasons to get outside. Farmers markets are in full swing, concert season is rolling, and local businesses are gearing up for what is traditionally one of the busiest times of the year.
We’re also just days away from releasing our Special 4th of July Weekend Guide, which will include everything happening across Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, Running Springs, Twin Peaks, Green Valley Lake, Blue Jay, Skyforest, and beyond.
But before we get there, let’s take a look at what’s happening this weekend.

☕ Business Spotlight - Kuffel Canyon Coffee
One of the newest additions to the mountain coffee scene is already generating buzz.
Recently opened in Skyforest, Kuffel Canyon Coffee brings a fresh gathering spot to the community, offering coffee, espresso drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. Located just off Highway 18, it’s quickly becoming a convenient stop for morning commuters, weekend adventurers, and anyone looking for a quality cup of coffee in the pines.
Known for:
• Fresh coffee and espresso drinks
• Cozy mountain atmosphere
• Convenient Skyforest location
• Friendly local ownership
• A great place to start your morning
What makes new businesses exciting on the mountain is that they help create more places for the community to gather. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee before work, meeting a friend, or simply enjoying a slower morning, Kuffel Canyon Coffee is worth adding to your list.
Local tip: Stop by on a weekday morning before heading down the hill and skip the coffee stop in the city.
As always, if you’ve discovered a local business you’d like to see featured in a future issue, send me a message and let me know.
📰 Mountain News
Summer Concert Season Continues to Draw Crowds to Lake Arrowhead Village
One of the mountain’s most popular summer traditions continues this weekend as the Lake Arrowhead Summer Concert Series rolls on.
The annual waterfront concert series has become a staple of summer on the mountain, bringing tribute bands, classic rock, country acts, and themed performances to Lake Arrowhead Village throughout the season. Concerts continue to draw both locals and visitors looking to enjoy live music against the backdrop of the lake. Upcoming performances include tribute acts celebrating artists such as No Doubt, Tom Petty, The Cure, The Smiths, Bon Jovi, Bob Seger, and many more throughout the summer. Concert check-in begins at 5:30 PM, with performances typically starting at 7:00 PM.
For many mountain businesses, the concert series also marks one of the busiest stretches of the summer tourism season.

⚡ Mountain Pick This Week
One thing I’ve been using lately, especially with warmer weather, hikes, yard work, and long days outside, is LMNT electrolytes.
No sugar, easy to throw in a water bottle, and honestly a huge help for staying hydrated up here.
If you want to check them out, here’s my link:
Just figured I’d share since a lot of us are spending more time outside this time of year.
