📰 Mountain News

Fourth of July Preparations Underway Across Mountain Communities

While we’re still a couple weeks away from Independence Day, preparations are already underway across the mountain for one of the busiest weekends of the year.

Local organizations, businesses, and community groups are coordinating celebrations, events, increased staffing, and visitor services as thousands of visitors are expected to head up the mountain for the holiday.

Officials are reminding residents to begin planning ahead for:

• Increased traffic
• Limited parking in popular areas
• Higher visitor volume
• Holiday event schedules

The Fourth of July remains one of the largest tourism weekends of the year for Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, Running Springs, and surrounding communities.

More event announcements are expected over the next few weeks.

Be on the lookout for a special edition of The Mountain Weekly that outlines ALL of the 4th of July events across the mountain.

Mountain Pick This Week

One thing I’ve been using lately, especially with warmer weather, hikes, yard work, and long days outside, is LMNT electrolytes.

No sugar, easy to throw in a water bottle, and honestly a huge help for staying hydrated up here.

If you want to check them out, here’s my link:

Just figured I’d share since a lot of us are spending more time outside this time of year.

That’s it for this week.

If you enjoyed this, consider forwarding it to a neighbor or friend who lives (or plays) on the mountain.

And remember—this newsletter is for the community.

Reply anytime with events, photos, jobs, local news, or updates you think others would appreciate.

See you up the hill,
