This Week on The Mountain

Another week on the mountain, neighbor!

After the big storms last month, things are settling down a bit, but winter isn’t quite finished yet. In this week’s issue you’ll find the latest weather outlook, a few local events happening around the mountain, a business worth checking out, and a couple quick updates from around the community.

Let’s get into it.

🌦️ Weather

It’s shaping up to be a cool but fairly calm stretch of weather across the mountain communities.

Daytime highs across Running Springs, Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, Twin Peaks, Arrowbear, and Green Valley Lake should land mostly in the upper 40s to mid-50s, while overnight temperatures drop into the upper 20s and 30s.

While no major storms are expected this week, March can still turn into one of the wetter months on the mountain and conditions can still shift quickly.

☕ Business Spotlight

The Tea & Coffee Exchange – Lake Arrowhead Village

If you’ve spent any time walking through the Village, you’ve probably passed The Tea & Coffee Exchange.

This cozy shop specializes in loose-leaf teas, specialty coffee beans, and unique blends from around the world. It’s a great stop if you’re looking to upgrade your morning coffee or grab something different for the weekend.

Even with construction happening around the Village, the shop remains open and continues to be a favorite stop for both locals and visitors.

If you’re heading down to the lake this week, it’s worth popping in.

📰 Mountain News

Rotary Senior Center Project Taking Shape

Plans are continuing to move forward for the proposed Lake Arrowhead Rotary Senior Center, a project aimed at creating a dedicated gathering space for seniors and community programs.

The vision includes meeting rooms, social activities, and wellness programming designed to help strengthen connections across the mountain community.

Organizers are continuing discussions and planning efforts as the project develops. If it moves forward, it could become an important new hub for residents in the Lake Arrowhead area.

💼 Mountain Jobs

Here are a few opportunities around the mountain this week:

• Rim of the World Unified School District

If your business is hiring in Running Springs, Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, Twin Peaks, Arrowbear, or Green Valley Lake, send it my way and I’ll include it next week.
